W e appreciate your patronage and are committed to providing an excellent client experience. Due to the nature of the services that we offer, we have to introduce a few policies to ensure all clients are given quality service and the opportunity to enjoy our services. In our commitment to provide an outstanding experience to all of our clients and out of consideration for our therapists’ and consultants’ time, we have adopted the following policies:
As a courtesy to other clients, appointments must be cancelled a minimum of 48 hours in advance. No fee will be charged for appointments that are cancelled or rescheduled with at least 48 hours’ notice. Appointments cancelled or re-scheduled without a minimum of 48 hours’ notice will result in a cancellation fee equal to the value of the service booked. The same fee applies to no-shows.
Please arrive to your appointment at least 5 minutes prior to the scheduled time. All services offered have a specific time schedule, and early arrival allows for a relaxed and unhurried experience. If late arrival is inevitable, your service(s) may be shortened in-order to keep on schedule.
All appointments begin and end on time so that the next client is not delayed. If the treatment does not start on time, the treatment time will be reduced accordingly, and you will still be required to pay full price. If a client is more than 15 minutes late, we may require that the appointment be rescheduled, and it will be considered a cancellation. We regret that late arrivals will not receive extension of scheduled appointment time. In special cases, and when our schedule will allow, we may be able to accommodate a partial or full appointment. This will be at our discretion and only with advanced notification of late arrival.
SALON ETTIQUETE We love children, however for the safety and consideration of our clients and employees. Due to numerous safety considerations, and for the safety of children under 12 years of age who are not receiving services, adult supervision is required in the main reception area by an adult other than the one receiving services. Please do not leave children unattended at any time in the salon. Your understanding of our policy regarding children and child safety is greatly appreciated. This will ensure that you receive the Hair Stylist full attention during your service.
Due to the nature of our services, there are no refunds, or exchanges on services or purchased products. All information is provided upfront on or before consultations and all questions must be clarified prior to the purchase of any products or on the onset of any service.
The Stylist will follow the same process for each colour service. 30ml of colour is the standard amount required and only in the extreme exception where more colour may be required, an additional amount of R50 per 10ml will be charged. This will be discussed and agreed with you before extra colour is applied. Challenges with Colour: Stubborn grey hair may appear translucent. Some grey hairs are more stubborn in that it tends to resist and/or reject colour. This may require a repeat service. In these circumstances, a follow up colour service may be required at a charge of R250. It is also important to note that a good colour shampoo and conditioner is required to prevent fading of colour.
Brasil Reconstruction removes frizz and curl on chemically treated hair. The end result is incredibly shinier, stronger, frizz free hair, which is more manageable and humidity resistant. This is effectively known as an ANTI-FRIZZ TREATMENT and not a STRAIGHTENER. Brasil Reconstruction seems to be less effective on virgin hair (defined as hair that has not been chemically processed) and will improve after a few treatments. The outcome will differ for the various types of hair. Results last up to 3 months provided the salons recommend shampoo and conditioner is used.
